As an intern with Arizona Microgreens at the George B. Brooks Sr. Community School, you will be actively engaged in hands-on work alongside a diverse group of peers––you will not spend all of your time working alone behind a computer or isolated with monotonous tasks. We are looking for enthusiastic and reliable interns with an interest in urban agriculture, sustainability education, and/or environmental stewardship. We are particularly interested in working with an entrepreneurial team of intern-collaborators who are looking to make a meaningful contribution to an initiative that is open to their response, critique, ideas, and enthusiasm.

Internships with Arizona Microgreens should encompass a full academic semester or at least 12 weeks. We work with interns in the greenhouse on Mondays and Wednesdays between 8 am and 1 pm. Interns join us the the first half of these work days and participate with the Greenhouse Operations team in harvesting, packing, and running the greenhouse. We take the needs of interns seriously and will do whatever possible to make this internship academically, professionally, and personally meaningful. It is not be feasible for us to provide financial compensation to interns at this time.
